One Track Brain LLC ("Camlink," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect the information you provide when you use the Camlink mobile application and related services (the "Services").

This policy applies to the Camlink Android application and the Camlink web platform, including any APIs, cloud storage, and data management features we provide.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

1.1 Account Information

  • Full name (first name and, optionally, last name)
  • Email address (used as your username)
  • U.S. state (provided at account registration)
  • Password (stored as a hashed value; we do not store plaintext passwords)

1.2 Camera Account Credentials

  • Third-party trail camera vendor account credentials (username and password) that you provide to connect your camera(s) to the Camlink platform
  • Server name and account ID for each connected camera vendor account

1.3 Camera Metadata

  • Camera name, camera ID, and GPS coordinates (latitude/longitude) you assign or that are provided by your camera vendor
  • Whether a camera has GPS capability enabled

1.4 Image Data and Metadata

  • Trail camera images and videos you upload or that are pulled from your connected third-party camera vendor accounts
  • Image capture timestamps, GPS location data embedded in image metadata, and HD image availability flags

1.5 User-Generated Content

  • BuckID profiles: names, notes, and status you assign to individual animals
  • Custom location names and tags you create
  • Any edits you make to image metadata (GPS corrections, tags, etc.)

1.6 Payment Information

  • Payment details collected through our third-party payment processor (Stripe) to facilitate subscription payments. Camlink does not store your credit card information; all payment processing is handled by Stripe. See Stripe's Privacy Policy for details on how payment data is processed.

1.7 Device and Usage Information

  • Device type, operating system version, and app version
  • IP address associated with your device connection
  • Usage data such as screen views, filter selections, and feature interactions within the app, collected only to improve the application experience

2. How We Collect Information

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Directly from you: When you create an account, connect a third-party camera account, configure cameras, create BuckID profiles, or communicate with us.
  • From third-party camera vendors: When you authorize us to connect to your account with a supported trail camera vendor, we pull image data and metadata from their services using the credentials you provide. Images are pulled from the vendor only once at the time of synchronization and stored in Camlink's own persistent repository. After the initial pull, Camlink does not access, re-download, or request additional data from the third-party vendor for that image. Your image data lives with Camlink -- not on the vendor's servers -- giving you control over access and deletion regardless of whether your vendor account remains active.
  • Automatically: Through the app, we collect device and usage information to operate and improve the Services.

  • Camlink-AI automatically detects and tags species (deer, buck, doe, turkey, humans) in trail camera images to help you filter and organize your captures.
  • The Camlink-AI model was trained on a separate, large public dataset. Your images are processed for tagging purposes only.

4.2 Your Data Is Not Used for Model Training
